Universal Studios Osaka is even better this summer. There are all kinds of ‘outrageous’ plans. Even ‘that’ idol group will have a residency for the summer.
Universal Studios Osaka just finished five new facilities for Cool Japan. There’s no rest for the weary, however, as the park starts its 15th Anniversary celebration – Re-Booooooorn! – on July 1.
The celebrations include a brand new facility made in collaboration with the millennial magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump.
There will also be appearances from the well-known cat every child loves and a national idol group.
The park will bring the world of Death Note to life with a super-realistic escape game – Death Note the Escape. You can also experience Frieza’s 5.3 billion fighting power in Dragon Ball Z – The Real 4D. One Piece Premier Show debuted in 2008 and was an immediate success. This year it’s back and as great as ever.
Make sure you don’t miss any of these wonderful attractions.
Yokai Watch Festival Park debuted last summer and was an instantly huge hit with children. This year, a new and enhanced version is being launched! All the facilities from last year are back along with the all new Yokai Watch Studio Stars Restaurant and Yokai Watch – the Rally 3.
AKB48 (not including SKE48) also announced it will send its most popular members to perform daily at Universal Studios Osaka from July 21 all the way to September 4.
The performance period will feature two or three daily shows of Summer Theater and eight shows of Summer Live. So, you can see members of AKB48, NMB48, HKT48, and NGT48 at Universal Studios every day!
