Where is Samejima Hotels? Samejima’s house is really a guesthouse! Take a trip round Yokohama with CEO Samejima.
The shooting location for the newest hit drama – The Most Difficult Love in the World – was a place I am sure everyone is familiar with: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
But, if you are a fan of CEO Reiji Samejima, what are the places in Yokohama that you must see?
I am sure everyone has heard of the Samejima Hotels Head Office. In fact, it is the Yokohama Landmark Tower. The 69 floor, multi-purpose building has restaurants, stores, and office spaces. The Sky Garden on the 69th floor is a great place to view the city at night. Cosmo World Theme Park is also nearby with an amazing ferris-wheel-centered light show.
Address: 2-2-1, Minatomirai , Nishi-ku Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa, 220-0012, Japan
A quick side note: The Landmark Tower is right by Yokohama Chinatown and the famous Red Brick Warehouse making it the perfect place for a romantic date.
Samejima is a successful businessman and he fittingly lives in an exclusive residence. The shooting location, Yokohama Guesthouse, is actually a venue that holds wedding functions! It is luxuriously decorated both inside and out and fans should definitely make a visit if they have the chance.
Address: 18, Oimatsucho, Nishi-ku Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa, 220-0032, Japan
Samejima’s sworn rival, Hideo Wada, operates the Stay Golden Hotel, which is actually the Hotel New Grand! The hotel’s exterior and interior design are reminiscent of classic European style. If you get the chance you should definitely book a room (although the prices aren’t that cheap).
Address: 10, Yamashitacho, Naka-ku Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa, 231-0023, Japan
